Þingeyjarsveit Calls for Input for Policy Development

The formation of a holistic policy for the Þingeyjarsveit municipality is currently underway, inviting residents of Þingeyjarsveit to contribute their ideas and suggestions to the municipal policy-making process. In this regard, three community meetings will be held in April. These meetings will aim to highlight the community's priorities as inputs into the policy development. Additionally, consideration will be given to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and discussions will be encouraged on how the new policy can support the implementation of these global goals.

Community meetings will take place as follows:

  • A meeting will be held at Stórutjarnaskóli on April 16th at 16:30.
  • A meeting will be held at Skjólbrekka on April 16th at 20:00.
  • A virtual meeting will take place on April 23rd at 16:30.

Community members can register for the meetings HERE.

It is crucial to gather community inputs into this process, and all interested individuals are encouraged to attend and express their perspectives.

The consulting firm ARCUR will facilitate and moderate the meetings.
